Quail Valley Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Banks, Oregon.
Quail Valley golf course first opened for play in 1994. The course was designed by John Zoller.
Quail Valley is an 18 hole championship facility open to the public. Quail Valley is a links-style player friendly course while offering a challenge to any golfer. Located just 20 miles west of downtown Portland, Quail Valley is an enjoyable experience year round.
This is a great links course in a rural setting. Once farm ground, the course provides views of neighboring farms, including a scenic silo on the back 9. The setting is flat, lying at the foot of neighboring hills and vineyards, east of the coastal range. Also visible is a panoramic view of Portland’s west hills and a peering Mt. Hood in the distance. The hole layouts are very open with minimal trees; mainly of the small, landscaped variety. Aside from the out of bounds perimeter of the grounds, the trouble areas lie within water, sand and some wild grasses. Large ponds and wetland areas are present on most holes, and are the biggest threat.

Open but still challenging course... a good course, when you have not played in a while... always well maintained.

Mostly open holes with some good risk/reward challenges on about 5-6 holes. Not always a distance challenge either. Afternoons have a stiff breeze on most days but still worth it. White sand bunkers.

This course offers a nice variety of holes, some short, but with challenges surrounding the greens, like water, bunkering and out-of-bounds...some long, also with strategic bunkering and out-of-bounds. Still others are medium in length, but with enough trouble that players need to "think" their way around the course. The Par-3 holes vary from long to short, open to tight and both with and withoutt hazards.

Did a nice job with farmland but over-priced, in my opinion. Well maintained and good staff.
